RE: leveling question

I use 12" by 12" boards. I place one or two in front of each tire on the side I want to raise. Your leveling blocks should fit between the tires.

RE: Eco travel trailers

We have a Fun Finder. Basically the same as Eco. It's great for two people. There's actually a forum for Fun Finders (& Cikira, Thor Dutchmen Aerolite Eco and Skamper Zoom, the Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite, the Chalet Takena, and the Palomino Gazelle.) I often find good information about our size camper. The link is: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Shadow_Cruiser_Fun_Finders/

RE: pop-up, tent campers, folding campers, camper trailer

We've camped in a tent for about 5 years. After we got rained on with an 18 month old for a week, we bought a pop-up. Now, after 25 years, we've upgraded to a travel trailer. We chose a "Fun Finder 189fbr" because it's light 3000# and meets our needs: bathroom, dinette, & fixed bed.

keeping the battery charged for two weeks

I'm planning a two week boondocking trip this summer. I don't plan to
use much electricity - fridge electronics (fridge will be on gas)
water pump, a couple of lights in the evening, and occasional use of
the furnace. Will I be able to keep the battery charged with a Honda
1000 generator? Would a solar system be better?

RE: Cleaning mold/mildew

I've used tilex mold & mildew spray on my 20 year old nylon tent. It eliminated the mildew and did not damage the nylon. It has been going now for another ten years.

RE: Eco travel trailers

There are a number of brands that have the same basic design. FunFinder, Cikra, Zoom and others. I've included a short quote from the Shadow Cruiser Yahoo group below.
Welcome to the Open Forum for the Cruiser RV Shadow Cruiser Fun Finder ultra lightweight travel trailers! We also cover the Cikira RV Classic Cruiser (built by former Cruiser RV employees). Several companies have copycat models of the Fun Finder and these include the Thor Dutchmen Aerolite Eco and Skamper Zoom, the Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite, the Chalet Takena, and the Palomino Gazelle.
